Recognizing Excellence in 2021

One of Embarc Collective’s driving organizational values is “Execute with Excellence.” Throughout all of 2021, the Embarc Collective team embodied this value, just ask any member of our startup community. Because of our incredible team, we have been able to achieve ambitious goals – most notable is that we became the fastest growing startup hub in Florida in 2021 and surpassed 100 member companies.

As we start 2022, I wanted to recognize two team members with promotions.

Kelly Kehoe, Promoted to VP Administration & Operations

Kelly brought the Embarc Collective to life in 2020 by developing the facility’s processes and procedures so that this space could be fully leveraged to deliver on our organizational mission. When COVID-19 started, she led our task force to respond and eventually reopen our facility in a safe way, and as the pandemic evolved, she stayed responsive to the medical guidance and made appropriate changes to our safety policies. She also is the backbone of our contracts and billing processes, which allows the rest of the team to focus on serving our member community.  I am grateful for Kelly’s contributions and am excited to see her shine in her new Vice President role.

Dan Holahan, Promoted to Member Experience Director

Dan is critical to the top-rated member experience we deliver each day.  In addition to supporting many member startups through 1:1 support, he oversees our membership application journey, our member experience planning, and our ongoing member programming. He is a wiz when it comes to identifying efficiencies for our organization and throughout this past year, it’s been a privilege to watch Dan really grow into a leadership role within our team and the Embarc Collective startup community.
